No School – President’s Day
The school will be closed in observance of President’s Day Monday, February 20, 2017.

Spring Pictures
Spring Pictures will be on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. The pictures will be out of uniforms.

Helicopter
The AirEvac helicopter will be here on March 10, 2017, around 2:00 so that our students and parents can tour the helicopter. Also, they will have brochures about their AirMedCare program. You can go online to www.joinairmedcarenetwork.com for more information.

Re-enrollment
It is hard to believe that we are beginning to plan for next year already. We would love to hear from you regarding our school and any suggestions that you may have. Be on the lookout for our re-enrollment cards soon.

MOWR (Move on When Ready)
Students, who are ready, in 9th -12th grades, may be able to take college courses. As a student of WHCA, these courses can be completed at our school, online, or through on-campus attendance at no additional expense.

Not all students are ready to pursue college courses, but some are able to handle the additional rigor and workload. If the school recommends the student, then the students and parents who decide to pursue college courses need to be aware that courses taken through MOWR are counted as college credit and high school credit. If the student does poorly, then they will not receive credit for high school either.

If you are interested in your child participating in MOWR, please contact the office for more information.
