MOWR (Move on When Ready)
Students in 9th -12th grades who are ready, may be able to take college courses. As a student of WHCA, these courses can be completed at our school, online, or through on campus attendance at no additional expense. In addition to being able to take classes during the school year, MOWR will pay for students to take classes in the summer of their freshman, sophomore, and junior years.
Not all students are ready to pursue college courses, but some can handle the additional rigor and workload. If the school recommends the student, then the students and parents who decide to pursue college courses need to be aware that courses taken through MOWR are counted as college credit and high school credit. If the student does poorly, then they will not receive credit for high school either.
If you are interested in your child participating in MOWR, please contact the office for more information.
