The WHCA students and staff very much enjoyed a visit from the Air Evac helicopter this past Friday. The students had the chance to ask questions and see inside the helicopter. We appreciate them visiting our school and giving our students an up-close view of an emergency helicopter.
Air Evac offer yearly memberships for families in case emergency medical transportation is needed. The cost of the membership is $65.00 per year and is valid for anyone in your immediate household for unlimited times throughout the year. To compare the cost of a regular air evacuation trip from Waverly Hall to Columbus is approximate $30,000. Please go online and look over the details for this program at www.joinairmedcarenetwork.com . You can sign up online, by phone, or by completing a brochure and returning it along with payment to their mailing address.

Next School Year
As we begin to work on the details of next school year, we would love to have your input. What do you like about WHCA? What would you like to see changed? (Within reason, of course.J) Is there something you think we should offer? Drop by, call or email us (email@example.com) and let us know what you think. Your input is valuable to us in our effort to offer your children a quality Christian education. We will be sending home a survey later in the semester and would love for you to give us your feedback.
MOWR (Move on When Ready)
Students in 9th -12th grades who are ready may be able to take college courses. As a student of WHCA, these courses can be completed at our school, online, or through on-campus attendance at no additional expense. In addition to being able to take classes during the school year, MOWR will pay for students to take classes in the summer of their freshman, sophomore, and junior years.
Not all students are ready to pursue college courses, but some can handle the additional rigor and workload. If students who are recommended decide to pursue college courses, they and their parents need to be aware that courses taken through MOWR are counted as college credit and high school credit. If the student does poorly, then they will not receive credit for high school either. If you are interested in your child participating in MOWR, please contact the office for more information.
