About

It is our desire at Waverly Hall Christian Academy to provide an academically excellent education in a thoroughly Christian environment.

We believe that we can educate the mind; however, if we neglect the education of the soul and spirit, then we have failed in our ministry. Waverly Hall Christian Academy is a ministry that God has brought to fruition through the vision and hard work of His people.  The board of directors, the administration, and the staff invite you to share our vision of being a “light in our community.”

Your support of, prayer for, and commitment to Waverly Hall Christian Academy will surely reap benefits for everyone involved. Help us “prepare tomorrow’s leaders today.”

Mrs. Teresa Deloach

Teresa C. DeLoach was born in Manchester, Georgia. She earned her bachelor’s degree in human development from LaGrange College and later continued her academic journey by obtaining a master’s degree in educational leadership.

With over 30 years of experience in Christian education, Teresa has dedicated her life to nurturing children in the admonition of the Lord. Her passion for Christian education began as a personal mission to provide a faith-based foundation for her own children. She and her husband, Larry DeLoach, are the proud parents of fourteen children—twelve girls and two boys—all of whom graduated from Christian schools.

In her early years, Teresa operated a daycare and led a homeschool program, laying the groundwork for a lifelong commitment to education and service. She has taught in both private and public educational settings and is known for her compassionate spirit and unwavering dedication to her community.

Since joining Waverly Hall Christian Academy in 2013, Teresa has served in numerous roles—from daycare teacher to sixth-grade educator. Today, she serves as Head Administrator of the Academy, where four of her children completed their education.

A devoted Christian, Teresa is deeply committed to fulfilling God’s purpose for her life. She is known for her love of God, her heart for people, and her steadfast commitment to Christian service.

For I am persuaded that death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38-39
